Esports Tournament Rules & Code of Conduct Agreement

1. Introduction

By registering for this eSports tournament, participants agree to abide by the rules and code of conduct outlined below. Failure to comply may result in disqualification, suspension, or other penalties.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must provide accurate information during registration.
  • Players under 18 must submit a signed parental consent form.
  • Players must use their registered Gamer Tag and account during matches.

3. Code of Conduct

  • Respect & Fair Play: Players must treat opponents, referees, and event staff with respect. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
  • No Cheating or Exploits: The use of cheats, hacks, unauthorized software, or game exploits is strictly prohibited.
  • No Toxic Behavior: Profanity, threats, or any form of disruptive behavior in chat, voice, or in-game communication will result in penalties.
  • Punctuality: Players must be on time for scheduled matches. Repeated delays may lead to disqualification.
  • Streaming & Content Sharing: Players may stream their matches if permitted by the tournament organizers, but they must not share confidential game strategies of their team.

4. Match Rules & Technical Issues

  • Players must follow the official game settings as provided.
  • Any disputes must be reported to tournament officials immediately.
  • If a player disconnects due to technical issues, tournament officials will determine whether a rematch or continuation is allowed.

5. Penalties & Disqualifications

  • Violating any rules may result in warnings, match forfeiture, suspension, or permanent ban from the tournament.
  • The tournament organizers reserve the right to take final decisions on rule violations.
